2023 SBDC Annual Meeting

Description

The 2023 SBDC Annual Meeting is quickly approaching, and registration is now open. Make plans to join the Chamber’s economic development arm for a conversation on the importance of regionalism and the impact on economic development.

Joining us from the University of Arkansas is this year’s feature speaker Mike Malone, vice chancellor for economic development at U of A. Malone holds nearly three decades of experience building coalition and partnerships to advance community and economic development opportunities. In his past role as the president and CEO of the Northwest Arkansas Council, Malone led the creation and implementation of regional grown and development strategies that have resulted in significant employment gains, economic growth, and improved quality of life in Northwest Arkansas.

As the Springfield region grows and our need to attract and retain talent to the area increases year over year, the concept of regionalism continues to become an important topic of conversation. Be a part of this discussion on regionalism; it is one keynote you will not want to miss!

This event is open to all SBDC Investors and Chamber members. Doors open at 11:00 am, with lunch and the program beginning at 11:30 am.
