As an Energy Risk Management Specialist I, you will help monitor, analyze, and report on energy market risk tied to power marketing, trading activities, and commodity transactions. You will gain hands-on experience with energy markets, financial risk analysis, and compliance while supporting real-time decision-making that impacts power generation and pricing.

What You’ll Do
- Support tracking and validation of energy transactions across power, natural gas, and other commodities
- Assist with monitoring portfolio risk, including credit exposure and market risk positions
- Help prepare monthly risk reports for Finance, Audit, and Risk discussions
- Participate in settlement processes for energy markets, including RTO transactions
- Collaborate with Power Marketing and Finance teams to ensure accurate data and reporting
- Contribute to maintaining risk systems, policies, and compliance documentation
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Foundational knowledge of Excel and data analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Interest in energy markets, quantitative analysis, or regulatory compliance
