The Child Advocacy Center- South Central is seeking an individual who is personally and professionally committed to the protection of children. The CAC medical assistant is much more than administrative support. The CAC medical assistant works alongside the medical providers and helps ensure the examination and evaluation of children and teens who may have been abused is safe, comfortable, and empowering and the administrative functions of care coordination are maintained. This role interfaces with children, their non-offending caregivers, and the investigative partners. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal communication skills, is comfortable working with children, and values accuracy and efficiency. 

The selected candidate will join a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to the Child Advocacy Center’s child-first, multidisciplinary, inclusive approach to investigating and preventing child abuse. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the CAC’s mission of providing a voice and nurturing hope for abused children and their supportive caregivers and recognize the role they play in helping the child begin their healing journey.
