MD Hyperbaric is pleased to announce the opening of its first Missouri location at 1316 E. Republic Road in Springfield, bringing advanced hyperbaric oxygen therapy services to the Springfield community and surrounding region.

Founded in 2021 by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Martin O’Malley, MD Hyperbaric has rapidly emerged as a leader in hyperbaric oxygen therapy by combining physician-directed care, FDA-cleared chambers, and a premium patient experience designed to deliver measurable healing and recovery outcomes.

The Springfield location will serve patients seeking medically supervised hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for a variety of conditions and wellness goals, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, concussions and traumatic brain injuries (TBI), Lyme disease, and neurological conditions.

HBOT involves breathing 100% oxygen in a pressurized chamber, increasing oxygen delivery throughout the body to support natural healing and recovery processes. The new Springfield center features medical-grade hyperbaric chambers in a professional, patient-focused environment.

Local owners Jim and Brenda Raynor invite Chamber members, community leaders, healthcare professionals and area residents to celebrate the opening during a Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Guests will have the opportunity to tour the new center, learn more about hyperbaric oxygen therapy, meet the MD Hyperbaric Springfield team, and enjoy networking and refreshments. The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce will conduct the official ribbon cutting.
