Thai Isan Zap, a new Thai and sushi restaurant at 2119 S. Glenstone Ave., will mark its grand opening with a ribbon cutting alongside the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11. 

Guests can enjoy free samples of panang curry, larb gai and fried appetizers. 

Food is prepared for approximately 25 to 30 guests and will be served first come, first served while supplies last.
